徐习墨出生在艺术世家，父亲徐锐（Daivid Xu）是一位知名画家，现在美国担任梦工厂冰雪艺术总监和ISA艺术总监。从小的艺术熏陶，使徐习墨成为内外兼修的高学历气质知性美女。徐习墨有着许多女孩子羡慕的标准九头身，但是学生时代的她还曾经因为身高太突出而经常被女同学取笑。可是徐习墨总是很有自信的对同学的嘲讽一笑了之，她相信这一点将成为她未来道路上的优势。而如今在主持界，高挑的身段成了徐习墨先天的优势，她立即脱颖而出，缩短了从学生时代到北京电视台最美出镜记者工作岗位的蜕变过程。徐习墨也一直相信，自信是一个人成功和幸福生活的必需条件。 

《绿色中国》：你出生在艺术世家，你会画画吗？父亲作为一名知名画家，有没有影响到你？

徐习墨：虽然画画不是科班出身，但是我总是在不经意间迸发出美术创作的灵感。现在受父亲影响也在画油画，我喜欢特别有灵气的画面。

《绿色中国》：你去过那么多国家，最喜欢哪一个？什么地方给你留下的印象最深刻？

徐习墨：当然是英国。英国是一个具有多元文化和开放思想的社会。而我最喜欢的是伦敦，从建筑艺术的角度讲，伦敦有点象巴黎：城市本身就是个大博物馆，可看的东西特多。在伦敦上学的时候经常喜欢到伦敦每一个角落感受伦敦文化，比如泰晤士河，特拉法加广场。最棒的就是在泰晤士河旁草地上捧着咖啡度过一个慵懒的下午。

《绿色中国》：这些经历给你带来了什么？

徐习墨：这些经历让我感觉到自己一直在成长，我是一个喜欢追求新鲜事物的人，总是想吸取更多的多源文化来丰富自己的视野，结交更多朋友，交朋友可以给我带来快乐。另外一方面是一种对生态和自然界全新的理解。我觉得中国的孩子也好大人也好，都缺乏对大自然探索的欲望。有些动植物不知道也就不知道，从来不会感到好奇，从来没想过要去探寻自然界的秘密。

《绿色中国》：下一个最想去的国家是哪里？

徐习墨：一定是非洲吧。有朋友说他去非洲住在露天和山洞，随时可以接触到野生动物，可以感受原始人的生活，可以感受时空逆转，或许会是不错的体验。

《绿色中国》：今后有没有什么关于绿色方面特别的设想呢？

徐习墨：我很想组织一个关于旅行的社团，旅游的同时可以四处收集有关创意环保的元素，然后制作成视频、影像，分享给国内更多的人。毕竟，环保点子要有创意才会有更多的人参与。

Ximo Xu was born in an art family, whose father was a celebrated painter. With this kind of this influence, Ximo Xu grew up as an intellectual beauty and highly educated. Ximo Xu has a standard body with nine heads which is envied by many girls, but she was often laughed at school because of her abrupt hight. However, Ximo Xu always smiled and passed, because she believed that some day she would be different. Now in network news, the tall and slim figure makes Ximo Xu a congenital advantage , she stands out immediately and turns out to be a good host quickly. She always has a faith in self-confidence, cause it’s a necessary condition of success and happiness in life.

Green China: You were born in an art family,can you draw? Is there any influence from your father?

Ximo Xu: I have never been trained in painting, but I can catch the casual inspiration of art creation in my mind. And now I'm affected by my father and start to create oil paintings.

Green China: You have been so many countries, which one is your favorite and impressed you most?

Ximo Xu: Of course it's the United Kingdom., which is multicultural and open-minded. My favorite city is London. London is like Paris from the perspective of architectural art because it looks like a huge museum,full of histories and stories. When I was at college in London, I liked to saunter in every street and ever y corner of London to feel it’s culture, such as Thames, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Jame’s Palace and Buckingham Palace. I could spend a lazy afternoon with a coffee on the grass beside the Thames.

Green China: What do you get from the experiences?

Ximo Xu: These experiences make me feel that I continue to learn and grow. I like new things, always be hunger for more multiculture to enrich myself. Meanwhile, I could make many friends. On the other hand, I have a brand new understanding about nature and ecology. I think Chinese children or adults are lack of desire to explore nature. Some plants and animals are strange to them but they never feel curious, never want to search for the secret of nature.

Green China: Which is your next country?

Ximo Xu: It must be Africa. My friend told me that he live in the open air and carve when he was in Africa. You can get close to big wild animals anytime and anywhere, you can feel the primitive life. It must be amazing.

Green China:  Do you have any special ideas about green in the future?

Ximo Xu:  I want to organize a travel club travel ,collect related creative environmental elements at the same time, and then make videos and share with more people in China. After all, the ideas of environmental protection need to be creative and attractive.
