谈及舞蹈对其生活的影响，白雪玉婷说：“舞蹈已经融入了我的生命，没有舞蹈，我的生活就没有了色彩。”从4岁开始接触舞蹈，如今，白雪玉婷已经在学习舞蹈这条道路了跋涉了16年。由于天姿聪慧，白雪玉婷小小年纪就开始在各类舞蹈比赛中崭露头角，先后获得商丘市第二届“美丽小姐”冠军、河南省舞蹈大赛冠军、宋庆龄基金会全国少儿艺术大赛舞蹈比赛银奖，最后登上了国际小姐全球大赛中国区总冠军的宝座，成为中国东方演艺集团著名青年舞蹈演员。

“当初学舞蹈，是我父母希望通过锻炼能增强我的体质，没想这一坚持就是十几年。”白雪玉婷还说，十几年来只在2008年考大学时有过些许犹豫，“我有想过去学播音主持，或者学表演，但是最后还是敌不过自己对舞蹈的热爱。”

    虽然知道专业学习舞蹈是一条布满荆棘的道路，但在填报高考志愿时，白雪玉婷还是很坚决地选择了舞蹈专业。2008年高考前夕，白雪玉婷只身一人到中央民族大学进行舞蹈专业培训，同学们都下课了，她还一个人留在排练厅一遍遍地练习。白雪玉婷的妈妈去北京看望她时候，曾用“像长裂了的石榴”形容她因为不断练习而磨得满是淤青和茧子的膝盖。不过白雪玉婷却淡然一笑，说：“因为表演的时候如果你还带护膝，会影响美观，所以只能不停地用膝盖磨蹭地板，把皮肉磨出茧子，就成了一个‘天然护膝’了。磕磕碰碰对我们来说是太正常不过了。”

功夫不负有心人。2008年，在全国舞蹈专业考试中，年仅16岁的白雪玉婷从五六千名考生中脱颖而出，以全省第一名的成绩考入中央民族大学，成为该校舞蹈学院的一名学生，开始了更专业、更系统的舞蹈学习。经过持之以恒的苦练，白雪玉婷很快就成为舞蹈学院最好的学生。2010年，中央民族大学舞蹈学院修编教材，课本上所有的示范动作都是由白雪玉婷来演示完成的。 

回忆起国际小姐中国区总决赛荣获总冠军的场景，白雪玉婷仍难掩内心的激动。“候场的时候，我特别紧张，手心里一直出汗，但一走上舞台，所有的紧张都瞬间不见了，我跟着练习了上百遍的旋律尽情起舞，那一刻全世界好像就只有我自己，观众的掌声我都没听见。”

舞蹈总是能让白雪玉婷忘记伤痛，忘记舞台，甚至忘记自己。她在微博上这样写道：“我们会忍受别人无法想像的苦，为的只是让腿控得高高；我们会藐视曾经流下的血汗，为的只是让我们的舞姿更加优美；我们会忍着疼痛把腿、腰、脚压下去，就算留下再多的泪水，只要音乐响起，我们就会忘记所有痛苦，灿烂地笑。”或许，鲜花也好掌声也罢，当白雪玉婷在舞台上时，她的使命就是表现美、释放美、传递美。

"Dance has been integrated into my life, no dance, no life." She said. Xueyuting Bai has been learning dance for 16 years since she was 4. She grew up as a highly-gifted girl and stood out conspicuously in many kinds of dance competitions at her young age.

“When I began to learn dancing, my parents just intended to improve my physical fitness by dance. And I never thought that I could be in this field for over ten years.” Xueyuting Bai told us that she just hesitated for a while when she decided to take part in the college examination in 2008, “ I have planned to study broadcasting or go to a acting school, but I can not stoping the emotion for dance.”she said.

Knowing professional dancing is a way that is full of thorns, Xueyuting Bai still resolutely chose the dance major when she filled out college application. Before the National College Entrance Exam (NCEE) of 2008, Xueyuting Bai came to the Central University of Nationalities to start her dance training. She was an assiduous girl and never missed any chance to train even the class was over. When her mother went to Beijing to visit the little daughter, she described her daughter’s knees which were covered with bruises and cocoon as “ chapped pomegranate”. “Training injury is too normal for me.” Xueyuting Bai smiled.

Everything comes to him who waits. In the National Dance Examination, this 16-year-old girl stood out from 6 thousand candidates and was admitted to the Central University of Nationalities as top 1 in her province. She finally became a professional dancing student and started her dancing dream. After persistent practices, Xueyuting Bai soon became the best student of her college. 

Recall the finals of Miss International China Region, Xueyuting Bai still can’t hide her strong feelings. “ When I waited to go to the stage, I was very nervous and my hands were shaking. But When I walked onto the stage, I didn’t hear the applause from the audience but myself, and that moment was my time.”

Dance is magic to Xueyuting Bai. She can forget the pain, the time even herself when she dances. “We could bear anything that other people cannot imagine, we could ignore the sweat and blood, we could forget any pain and smile as long as the music is on.” she wrote in her blog. No matter flowers or applause, when Xueyuting Bai is standing on the stage, she is the messenger of beauty.
