中美两国企业家的频繁接触、友好交流与深度合作，其深层次的价值和意义远超乎于经济领域，其紧密接触和正能量的不间断传输，一定会为中美两国友好往来，乃至世界的和平与发展带来潜在的、不可估量的现实作用和历史意义。

中美关系是当今世界最重要的大国关系，两国关系的定位与构建直接影响着未来世界的和平与发展。中国领导人提出与美国建立新型大国关系，是基于自身及整个世界和平发展的需要。其核心是，相互尊重，全面合作，互利共赢。中美建交30多年来，一路风风雨雨，但两国利益关系日益紧密。现在，越来越多的中美两国精英人士认识到，推动中美关系健康稳定发展，无论是中国，还是美国都必须摒弃不合时宜的陈旧思维。

当今世界已进入信息化社会，整个地球也逐渐成为一个地球村，作为世界的第一和第二大经济体，一荣俱荣一损俱损，因此同舟共济是中美两国共同发展的关键。同舟共济就是中美双方都要重视维护两国关系大局，中美两国的一举一动影响着整个世界。因此，重视维护双方共同利益，不断扩大交汇利益，携手应对风险挑战；互利共赢，就是推动中美各领域开展全面、平衡、高效的合作，使双方同等受惠、共同获利。而经贸关系是中美关系的基石，应精心培育、构筑两国经贸合作新根基。打造双方自由贸易根基，双方应坚定奉行自由贸易原则，反对各种形式的保护主义；推动双方结构平衡根基，双方都要推进深层次结构改革，使各自国内经济和两国经贸关系更均衡、更可持续；建立双方平等公正根基，双方开展贸易投资合作要排除政治因素干扰，切实做到平等无歧视，公正无排斥。 

绝大部分中国人愿意学习借鉴人类文明的一切优秀成果，特别是美国的先进经验和发展模式，积极寻求中美价值观的共同点，深刻阐明中华文明之价值观，阐明中国全球合作战略的思想内涵，致力于减轻、消除国际社会对中国发展的困惑、误解和疑虑。树立大而不骄、强而不霸的形象，把中国和平发展的真诚愿望，化为外部世界对中国的普遍信任，实现与世界的共同繁荣。 

推动中美两国企业界和民间的交流与合作，就是从一个侧面致力于构建基于中美两国健康竞争而非战略博弈的新型大国关系；就是顺应潮流、与时俱进、前瞻未来，推动中美关系在变革和创新中发展，建立一种相互尊重的朋友关系，合作共赢的伙伴关系。 

最后，我预祝“中美投资博览会”在中美双方亲密无间的合作下圆满举办，祝愿中美两国更多的企业家参与其中，为了中美两国人民的世代友好交往，为了世界的和平发展，贡献我们微薄之力。

A New Pattern of China-US Economic Cooperation Conforms To the Peoples’ Interest

The frequent contact, friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States entrepreneur with its deep value and significance far beyond in the economic field and the discontinuous transmission close contact of positive energy, will be an immeasurable and historical significance for the Sino-US relations, the reality of peace and development in the world.

The Sino-US relations are one of the most important power relations which directly affects the peace and development in the future of the world. Chinese leaders put forward to establish the new relationship between big countries first-elected the U.S., is the need to itself and the whole world peace development. The core is mutual respect, comprehensive cooperation and mutual benefit. Although more than 30 years of Sino-US diplomatic ties experienced a winding course in their bilateral relations, the interests of the two countries are closer. Now, the elite of both countries increasingly recognize, both China and the U.S. must abandon the inopportune thinking to promote the healthy and stable development of Sino-US relations. 

Today's world has entered the information society and the earth has become a global village. As the first and second largest economies, rising and falling simultaneously, so the Sino-US joint development is a key point. The joint development is both China and America should pay attention to the maintenance of the overall situation and the bilateral relations as the every act and every move affects the whole world. Therefore, to safeguard the common interests of both sides, to expand the intersection of interest, to cope with risks and challenges; mutual benefit and win-win, is promoting the Sino-US in various fields to carry out comprehensive, balanced, efficient cooperation. However, the economic and trade relationship is the cornerstone of China-US relations, it should be carefully nurtured to build a new foundation of bilateral economic and trade cooperation. Create both free trade foundation, both sides should adhere to the principles of free trade, oppose all forms of protectionism; promote bilateral balance of structure foundation, both sides should promote the deep-seated structural reform so that their respective domestic economic and trade relations between the two countries become more balanced and sustainable; build up the equal justice foundation in both sides to carry out trade and investment cooperation to exclude political interference factors equality without discrimination.

The vast majority of Chinese are willing to learn all the outstanding achievements of human civilization, especially the advanced experience and development model of the U.S. for actively seeking the common values of China and America, deeply expounding the value of Chinese civilization outlook, expounding China's global cooperation strategy, reducing the misunderstanding and doubt. It is set up images of powerful but not proud and strong but not bully, of sincere desire for peaceful development, the outside world general trust and the realization of the world’s common prosperity.

It is to promote exchange and cooperation in Sino-US business and civil society from one side building a healthy competition between China and the U.S. rather than strategic game; it is to follow the trend, to advance with the times, to promote the development of China-U.S. relations in reform and innovation, to establish a mutual respect, friendship, partnership and win-win cooperation.

Finally, I wishes China-Us Investment Expo will successfully be held in close cooperation between the two sides and wishes more entrepreneurs to participate for the friendly exchanges between the Chinese and American peoples, the peaceful development of the world.
