应持荣，本届中美投资博览会组委会主席，美国投资协会会长，南加州华人联合总会常务副会长，美国苏浙沪同乡会会长。

通过电话连线，本刊记者有幸采访到远在大洋披岸的应主席。

《绿色中国》：请问您本次中美投资博览会的举办初衷是什么？

应持荣：回顾历史，感慨万千。一百年前的中国人，只拖着一条辫子来到美国，寻找淘金梦；三十年前的中国人，带了两个皮箱来到美国，寻找美国梦；当今的中国的企业家，带着真金白银，来到美国，要实现中国梦。

2013是机遇之年，正值全球经济走入谷底，美国复苏苗头已现之际。放眼彼岸，美国土地、资产，及林林总总潜力项目，以其体制之开放，自由之环境，平等之规则，待价而沽。而其价格之不可思议，其价值之不可限量，正期待中国各界有胆有识之士豪饮鲸吞，大展身手，逐鹿美利坚东西海岸! 正可谓:

辰龙在天, 古神州忽然富甲天下;

斯土有财, 新美国竟成逐鹿之地!

值此百年不遇之时，美国投资协会整合资源，凝聚力量，定于2013年4月18日至28日，在美国洛杉矶，拉斯维加斯，纽约，华盛顿举行中美投资博览会。

届时，嘉宾云集，群贤毕至，把握时机，指点江山；中美政商巨贾，风流人士同聚一堂，共商大计。

绿色中国：您认为中美投资博览会的长远意义是什么？

应持荣：2013年中美投资博览会将不仅是考察、访问。洛杉矶、纽约、华盛顿、拉斯维加斯分会的相继成立使得今年峰会形成覆盖全美四大城市、横跨东西海岸、全面对接的格局。这将给予来参会的中国企业家在美国投资合作时有更多方位的选择，也使得更多的美国企业家有机会直接面对中国投资人或合作方——中美投资博览会这一民间交流平台在不断壮大。

    本次中美投资博览会恭请美国各界多位投资专家，谐与会人士探讨美国投资之道，研究美国教育市场留学方法，分享在美创业成功经验。届时，商机，财富，土地，在此一同显现；事业，家庭，未来，在此一并筹谋。

Eyes On Overseas In the Year of Opportunity

—— Interview chairman of China-US Investment Expo, Roy Ying

Roy Ying is chairman of China-US Investment Expo Organizing Committee, president of the U.S. Investment Association, executive vice president of the southern California Chinese Association and president of America Suzhehu association.

Roy took an active part in almost all major celebration activities of overseas Chinese and public welfare activities, such as earthquake relief, the rose parade, a flag-raising ceremony, national day performances, etc. He is highly praised in overseas Chinese as a generous and honest man. In the mainstream society, he actively participates in efforts to promote the overall status of Chinese.

Reviewing the history, it is filled with a thousand regrets. One hundred years ago, Chinese came to the U.S. only with a pigtail, looking for the dream of gold; thirty years ago,  the Chinese came to the U.S. with two suitcase, looking for the American dream; today, Chinese entrepreneurs came to the U.S. with gold and silver to realize the China dream.

Green China: What is the original intention of this China-US Investment Expo?

Roy: With the global economy dropped into the bottom but the U.S. showed recovery signs, 2013 is the year of opportunity. Eyes on the U.S., the land, assets, and numerous potential projects, due to the open system environment, freedom, equality rules, all of them are waiting for the highest bid. However, its incredible price and limitless value, is looking forward to Chinese aspirants to exploit American coast from the east to the west! 

It is said that the Divine Land are prosperous when the dragon flying and the U.S. is a hot cornucopia.

On the occasion, the U. S. Investment Association reallocated resources and condensed force. It is decided to hold for China-US Investment Expo in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York and Washington from April 18 to 28, 2013. 

At the appointed time, distinguished gathering will make comments and Chinese and American businessmen will discuss matters of vital importance.

Green China: What is the far-reaching significance of this China-US Investment Expo? 

Roy: The 2013 China-US Investment Expo will organize events other than a business tour or visit. With the establishment of Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York and Washington meeting sessions, the expo. Will take place in the nation’s four largest cities with different themes, creating business opportunities from coast to coast. This will provide more choices in the U.S., in the same time, American entrepreneurs will be able to discuss business cooperation with Chinese investors face to face—— this folk communication platform of China-US Investment Expo is growing.

China-US Investment Expo will invite all sectors of experienced investment experts to discuss American investment way with participants, to research study abroad method of education market, to share the business successful experience. At the appointed time, opportunities, wealth, land will appear together; career, family, future will gain in one plan.

When China-US Investment Expo is going to open, Roy said he would like to represent the U.S. Investment Association and China-US Investment Expo Organizing Committee to extend a warm welcome to the guests.
